La Marina Urbanisation.

The Urbanisation of La Marina is the biggest in the Costa Blanca and lies approx. 3,5 km away from a wonderful 17-km-long sandy beach.  La Marina offers a developed infrastructure as well as numerous entertainment possibilities and an active social life for the residents. A lot is also offered to the holiday-maker, from the coastal road N-332 you can visit the hinterland and the close cities like Torrevieja to the south, Elche and Alicante to the north, and lots of typical Spanish villages in-between.
 
La Marina urbanisation is situated 20 minutes drive from Alicante Airport.
La Marina beach is approx. a 10 minute drive from the urb.
A car is recommended, but lifts may be possible - speak with owners. 
 

Weekly markets:

The Spanish weekly markets  takes place every week on Thursdays and Sundays on the marketplace near the centre.  There is also a Saturday morning market near the Mercadona area.
 

La Marina Vilage.

The village has a range of shops, bars, banks etc. and has a regular bus service north and south along the coast. 
Consum Area. Accommodation is approx. 5 - 10 minute walk from this area. There is a supermarket. A few shops and a variety of bars & restaurants.
Mercadona Area. Accommodation is approx 20 minute walk from this area. There is a large supermarket. Lidl, Icelands, some shops, restaurants, cafe, hairdresser etc.
Grey Area. Accommodation is approx. 5-10 minute walk from this area. Several good restaurants, bars, cafes, post office and a few shops.
Main Commercial Area. Accommodation is approx. 15 minute walk from this area. There is a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, banks and a supermarket.
